- Pictured are examples of FILO and FIFO Accumulation Systems. FILO (First In - Last Out product flow) and FIFO (First In - First Out product flow) refer to the relative manner in which the flow of product is managed while in accumulation. Most conventional means of off line accumulation are considered relative FILO accumulation systems ie. bi-directional accumulation tables or mass flow switch back accumulation.
